Mike Kolitsky, an 81-year old artist focused on creating work for blind or visually impaired.

His work includes Poetry and Haiku laser cut into acrylic sheets and formed into multi-dimensional shapes. Several works also include QR Codes which present the line of poetry in that section, as well as OCR for reading poetry using cell phone for access to poetry by blind patrons.

Kolitsky's work has been included in many juried shows around the US, including the Pequot Library (CT) in 2019 where he was awarded 1st prize.

When he is not creating artwork, he is an Adjunct Professor in Biology at the University of Texas at El Paso.
