Our Fall Season at the New York Design Center kicks off with
Rock, Paper, Scissors. This innovative mixed media themed show will include a co-curated exhibit at
transFORM Gallery on the Seventh
Floor and a second exhibit in the ground floor Cafe.
Our artists take Paper and Rocks and together with scissors, other tools and great imagination to create impactful works of art.
At
transFORM Gallery, the co-curated exhibit designed together with Kara O’Neill,
transFORM Gallery Art Director, will feature rock and metal sculptures by
Lubomir Tomaszewski, Carbon Smoke drawings
by Hawaii artist,
Wayne Zebzda, Mixed Media Cut Paper paintings by New York artist
Glenn Fisher and Chilean artist
Rodolfo Edwards; Dimensional rag paper collages by California artist
Michael Buscemi and Acrylic and Sand paintings by
Mark Van Wagner.
On the ground floor, we'll be also be featuring the intricate drawings by
Krzysztof Pastuszka and the rolled paper and acrylic artworks of
Amy Genser.
