Makai is the Hawaiian term for "towards the sea" and this plunge into the summer season will feature artwork by Hawaii artists, Carol Bennett and Mike Field. It will take place at Vintology Wine & Spirits at 10 Palmer Avenue in Scarsdale.

And on Friday, May 31st, join us as we host a "Best of California Wine" tasting from 7pm - 11pm.

Both our artists are actively engaged in the sports they portray. Mike Field has come to truly embody all that is Hawaii and immersed himself in various island sports – from canoe paddling, surfing, canoe sailing, and open ocean swimming. It is through these experiences that Mike has found an abundance of inspiration for his creativity.

Carol Bennett's fascination with the swimmer began as she watched the swimmers train at the LA Athletic club and today she spends time in the ocean waters in Kaua'i and captures the light and reflections as people (and fish) move through the space.
