Today, it's a passion and a joy and I love working with the first time buyer, as well as the experienced collector.

About Lisa Cooper - Contemporary Art Gallery Owner and Art Consultant
Art has always been an essential part of Lisa’s life. A born and raised New Yorker, Lisa’s playground was the city’s art galleries, museums, and public art events. She began collecting contemporary art shortly after her marriage to celebrate milestones in their life together.
Professionally, Lisa spent over 20 years directing marketing campaigns for some of the world’s leading consumer brands, including IBM, JP Morgan Chase, and Mercedes-Benz before starting Elisa Contemporary Art (ECA) in 2007. The Riverdale Gallery was opened in September 2008.
Over the past several years, ECA has participated in high-end art fairs in New York, the Hamptons, Boston and Miami. Lisa has curated 8 shows in private and public art spaces within the Tri-State area, been a guest juror for other gallery shows, guest lecturer at School of Visual Arts and Queens College, and is currently a member of the Arts & Architecture Review Committee at Saint Peter’s Church in Manhattan. She and her shows have been featured in American Art Collector, Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, and other publications.
