Our Fall 2022 exhibit at Elisa Contemporary Art will be Traveling. It is a group show inspired by places and trips around the globe.
Traveling will include works by Canadian Artist, Marie Danielle Leblanc, Bronx Photographer John Conn, California Artist, Ferdinanda Florence, Connecticut Artist, Dale Najarian and DC Sculptor, Michael Enn Sirvet.
The paintings by Leblanc were inspired by trips to Iceland, Mexico and travels throughout Canada. She always takes photos and notes to remind her of nature's colors and movements. These elements are incorporated into the paintings. Photographer John Conn travelled to Cuba in 2016, and spent 45 days in Antarctica and Patagonia in 2010. Photographs from both trips will be included in the show. Ferdinanda Florence captures several different feels and landscapes throughout California in her two featured series. Dale Najarian shares paintings inspired by trips to Costa Rica and Colorado. The exhibit will include a new Sphere sculpture, created with drilled aluminum by Michael Enn Sirvet.
Traveling will open on September 28 at Elisa Contemporary Art in Riverdale NY. It will run through December 14, 2022.
