Two Special Events: Landscape Design and Faux Finishes

Kimber Berry in Tickled Pink

Ticked PINK means “to be delighted” and to “glow with pleasure” and when you see the vibrant palettes, rich textures and imagined worlds in the artwork of our group of international artists you’ll bask in those feelings as well.

There are the pulsating digital orbs of Canadian artist Franco DeFrancesca and the expressionistic organic landscapes of Los Angeles Flow artist Kimber Berry, as well as thickly layered and dimensional paintings of Austin artist, Allison Gregory that literally drip with joy.

The exhibit also features the mixed media paintings (paper, paint and resin) of New Jersey artist, Nancy Tobin and the saturated watercolor worlds of New York artist, Melinda Hackett. According to Melinda, “One of my purposes in making paintings is to transport the viewer to a necessarily foreign place, where nature can be experienced without knowing it fully, and where reality is communicated through the senses.”

In this exhibit, we’re featuring a brilliant array of hues from our gallery artists including:

  • LA Flow artist, Kimber Berry
  • Austin artist, Allison Gregory
  • Emerging Turkish artist, Yasemin Kackar Demirel
  • Canadian Digital artist, Franco DeFrancesca
  • New York artist, Melinda Hackett
  • Mixed Media artist, Nancy Tobin
  • Argentinian artist, Ana Maria Hernando

    About Kim Bahr
Decorative painter and artist Kim Bahr developed her love of color, natural beauty, art and architecture while traveling around the world as a fashion model. Upon returning home, Kim wanted a new direction in her career and decided to utilize her creativity.

After studying art and decorative painting at New York City's Pratt University, Kim created her painting business. For the past eighteen years, professional architects, decorators, and designers have relied on her unique vision and talent to transform interiors for their clients on the east coast.

When asked what she loves most about her career, Kim offers this observation: "The most rewarding thing about what I do is that I am beautifying the world we live in, one room at a time, and creating spaces that people truly love and enjoy being in. I help my clients live their dreams."
